TreeNerd does not sell your personal information to data brokers, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The one situation where we are paid in connection with your information is our quote-request service: when you ask for quotes, we offer your request to local tree care companies, and those companies pay us a per-lead fee to receive it. Some state laws treat that as a “sale” or “share,” so this page explains how to opt out.

Other ways to opt out
- Don't submit a quote request. We only pass your details to companies when you actively submit a quote request. If you never submit one, nothing about you is sold or shared.
- Tell us to stop and delete a request you already made. Email hello@treenerd.com from the email address connected to your information, with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share My Information.” We will stop offering your request to companies and delete it from our systems. We respond within 45 days.
- Delete your account. If you have an account, you can erase it and the data tied to it at any time from your account page.
